What is AvKids?
AvKids is a program designed to educate elementary school students about the benefits of business aviation to the community and the career opportunities available to them in the business aviation industry.
AvKids can help transform a childs flights of fancy into a fun educational experience that may lead to a rewarding career path. In the course of their journey, this program hopes to reinforce the values and zest for learning that will serve future aviation professionals well throughout their lives.

NBAA AvKids Educators to Receive Teachers Award
Four educators who helped the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) create its AvKids Activities Guide and Teachers Resource will receive the 2001 Excellence in Aviation Education Award from the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

AvKids Activity Guide & Teachers Resource Now Available
The National Business Aviation Association has released the AvKids Activity Guide and Teachers Resource. This publication will be used in conjunction with the NBAA AvKids (Aviation for Kids) Program, which incorporates science, math, geography and language arts skills to help students in grades 2 through 5 understand aviation, particularly business aviation.
